Professional and Philosophical
If you're on this page, it's because you're a relative, a friend, or someone who would like to know more about me. My plan for this page is to post documents related to my history or views that would be too long to put anywhere else on this website. They might also only be peripherally related to the theme of this website. For each document, I will say a few things and then there will be a link you can click to download it.
Resume
Resumes are terribly boring to read. But, in case any of you would like to know where I was when and what I was writing at the time, my resume is the best place to find it out. The last ten years of the resume are a little bit sparse. Not too much happening to me (unfortunately) since I returned to the US. You can download my resume here.
Physical Culture and Soul Culture
This is a paper I wrote that deals primarily with my spiritual views. Here are the first few paragraphs from it:
This paper is a preliminary statement of my personal life philosophy. It’s inherently incomplete as one’s personal philosophy will always evolve as he/she learns more about the human condition. However, hopefully, at least some parts of this paper are homing in on “truth,” whatever that elusive goal might be.
This philosophy has been years in the making. Looking back, I can see progress as my ideas developed from skeletons of concepts in my teens and twenties to more focused and, I hope, more mature and complete viewpoints in my later years. However, it has been said, and I agree, that the more you understand and know, the more you realize how far you have yet to go. So, this paper is a statement of where I’m at right now. My hope is that the reader of this paper will develop a similar curiosity about the human condition and be inspired to join me in this quest for knowledge and understanding of what life is all about.
I have two avocations, each of which almost became my chosen area of academic study:

I have two avocations, each of which almost became my chosen area of academic study:
- the understanding of the human body as it relates to health/fitness and
- religion (and even Protestant ministry!) in-so-far-as it relates to understanding of human consciousness and where it was before birth and where it goes after death.
